Redundancy and outplacement coaching
Helping employees as they prepare to leave your organisation
Making redundancies in an organisation can be a stressful and unsettling experience for the employees at risk as well as line managers and HR who have to take their employees through the process. The Life Bureau offers a beneficial and practical coaching service that will help your organisation and your employees as you go through the period of change and uncertainty.
How it Works:
When redundancies are handled badly they leave employees feeling bitter about the experience and the way they have been treated. They will speak badly of the organisation and are unlikely to want to return or to recommend the organisation to people they know. Handled well and the opposite is true. The outplacement coaching programme is designed to offer employees support, encouragement and advice as they prepare to leave your organisation.
Employees can participate in group or personal coaching sessions to help them to focus on their goals. Coaching sessions can be used to explore new avenues, plan what to do next and create a strategy on how to get there and used to build confidence, highlight opportunities and increase self-awareness of the skills your employees have to offer the marketplace. If employees want to focus on the practicalities of job hunting, then they can benefit from workshops on interview skills and CV writing or use their one to one coaching sessions to gain some interview practice or to review their CV.
